A brand agency for more of the same?
Or a brand agency for Mighty Change.

Mighty is a UK brand agency that help clients make change. Big brave moments of change. Encouraging their clients to embrace something different. To not repeat the past; to eschew the familiar, warm comfort of convention.

To live up to this bold statement we needed an identity with a fighting spirit. One with Mighty intentions, packing a hell of a punch from a savvy contender in the ring.

We began the process of defining what this could feel like. Exploring far and wide as internal projects can be challenging. By collaborating closely with the Mighty team, James Ashe and Robyn Hardman we all leaned into the idea of Mighty Change which touched every part of the business. Bold new values, an updated process model, digital presence, tone of voice and identity with heavyweight potential. It's been a true collaboration.

Direct. Digital-first. Distinct.

Boxing clever

We presented two initial territories which enabled everyone to discuss the visual direction and tone which felt right for the strategy and ultimately befitting the Mighty business. From here we developed a route to live up to the name, but also nod to heavyweight thinking in action. A powerful combination of chunky condensed type, engaging tone of voice and illustrated graphical details which layer the visuals. An agency that lives up to its promises, in a mighty way.

To achieve the impactful look we researched boxing posters and graphics. Tight combinations of colours, icons and values illustrations help to deliver the modern take on this nostalgia.

The simplicity of the colours and the way they are used give strength to the idea of Mighty Change. Pitch Black is always used as a stand-out element, for where Mighty comes into play.

Type-led. Ideas-led.

To highlight the discomfort of change, we used a strikethrough technique to reconsider the old, boring way of working. Then accentuating the ability to make a Mighty Change, through messaging and tone of voice. The team worked alongside copywriter Tom Brown, who leant into the wit and strength of Mighty's tone of voice.
